Potter Heigham village, Norfolk

The village of Potter Heigham is situated 12 miles north east of the city of Norwich, on the A149 road. Potter Heigham is on the River Thurne, within the Broads National Park and is close to Hickling Broad, which is under the care of the Norfolk Wildlife Trust. The village is famous for its medieval bridge, which is thought to date from 1385, and is considered one of the most difficult bridges to navigate on the Broads. Potter Heigham church, Saint Nicholas, has a 12th century round tower and pretty thatched roof.
