East Carleton is sometimes spelt East Carlton, and is a village 6 miles south west of the city of Norwich. The village has 2 churches, St Mary, which was built mainly in the 19th century, and St Peter, which today is an unrecognisable ruin. This rural village is an ideal place for walking and cycling, yet close to the city shopping centre and Castle Museum.
