
Ashwellthorpe village, Norfolk
Ashwellthorpe is situated south of Wymondham and is a small village with basic amenities. The church tower was built in the late 13th century and the chancel in the early 14th century. Ashwellthorpe Hall Hotel was originally the manor house of Sir Thomas Knyvett, dating back to 1596. Today it is used as a holiday home for the disabled.
