Ashill village, Norfolk
The village church is mostly perpendicular in style, of flint construction and over 700 years old. On the second buttress is a scratch dial which was used by the villagers of Ashill to tell the time before they had clocks. It is a thriving village with a number of estates, schools and community centre and can be found between Swaffham and Watton.
